Bonding
If teeth are chipped, cracked, misaligned, or discolored, a plastic putty-like resin can be used to rebuild them and make them look natural. Usually this type of restoration lasts 5-7 years or longer before needing touch-up for wear or discoloration.
After preparation of the tooth, a composite resin is applied and shaped to fill in chips or to correct other problems.
The resin is exposed to a curing light that hardens it. Then the tooth is smoothed and polished.
The results are amazing - nobody will ever know that the bonding is there!
