Dr. Aaronson earned her Doctor of Medical Dentistry degree at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in 2008. While in dental school, she worked as a student teacher in preclinical and clinical courses and was an assistant instructor in the Emergency clinic.
Dr. Aaronson has co-authored an article with Dr. Nathan S. Birnbaum on digital impressioning systems and was a contributing author to a book on dental management of patients with medical conditions. She is a member of the Academy for Sports Dentistry and continues to be an active member of the Alpha Omega Dental Fraternity, for which she served as Vice-President and President while in dental school.
Dr. Aaronson founded "Tooth Day at Fenway Park", an annual event that brings oral cancer awareness to fans at Red Sox games. During the event, dentists and dental students provide free oral cancer screenings to the public, while handing out samples of toothpaste, toothbrushes, floss, and other dental care products. Dr. Aaronson is continuing her work with the Boston Red Sox by organizing a dental mission trip to the Dominican Republic to offer free dental care to children in a Red Sox-sponsored orphanage and other impoverished areas.
